Summer is fast approaching. These lightweight cotton shorts that are super easy to pull up and down. They are big enough to protect delicate skin from the sun, perfect for playing outside. There's no need to worry about mess as they're super easy to wash and quick to dry.

Tools and Materials:

Fabric pieces cut out and ready to sew.
Inside leg seams.
Centre seam.
Side seams.
Finish raw edges with an overlocker.
Press hems and waistband.
Make a loop of elastic.
Stitch the waistband with the elastic trapped inside.
Sew hems with a twin needle.
Even out the elastic waistband.
