Polkadoodles Lily Card Making Project

I'm totally in love with the Far east Collection from Polkadoodles.  The figures are so nice and easy to colour but still have plenty of wow factor.  This is the first time I've used this particular one and I'm chuffed with it.

I've gone for a teal and black colour combo.  Teal isn't a colour I particularly used or thought of until I started doing craft challenges.  Having been challenged to use it I've grown to love it.  It seemed right with this image with her very black hair.  

Tools and Materials:

I've used distress ink to ink the edges of the card blank

and the image.

I've used Anita's Glaze (Glossy Accents) to highlight the hair and sash.

Tools and Materials:

Silver backing paper cut to measure 14cm square.

Wanderlust paper cut to 3mm smaller.

Pieces die cut.

Pokey tool used to get the little bits out of the dies.

After colouring the image I've used Distress ink to ink the edges.

And also the edges of the card blank.

A liberal application of glitter glue seemed to be in order.
