This is a quick and easy recipe that's jam packed full of flavour.
Ingredients and Tools:
1kg Boneless Chicken £5.38
1kg Onions 57p
Fresh Ginger 55p
Garlic 16p
Soy Sauce 45p
Honey 99p
Cider Vinegar 49p
Cornflour 15p
Total = £8.74

Start by chopping up the onions.
The dice the garlic.
Fry them both together until they're soft then throw them in the slow cooker.
Dice the ginger as finely as you can and chuck that into the slow cooker too.
Next dice the chicken and sling that on top.
Then add about half a bottle of cider vinegar.
The full bottle of soy sauce.
And the full jar of honey.
Sprinkle a a few tablespoons of cornflour on top to thicken the sauce.
Give it a stir and cook on low for about 6 - 8 hours. If you're in a rush you can cook it on high for 4 - 5 hours, just check that the chicken is fully cooked before serving.
