Santa's Coming to Town!

How have I not used this image before!!  With a biker for a Dad and a biker for a fellah how could I have missed it?!!?  There's so many images on the The Best of Just Inklined 2012 CD ROM it's easy to miss some.

The colour combo Brown and Cream said sepia to me so I went with it.  I just happened to have just the right papers kicking around.  This was one of those cards that practically made itself - I wish they were all like that!!

Me To You Winter WOW

Much as I wish it did, my budget does not stretch to a lovely selection of Spellbinders dies that seem to make WOW cards well wow for want of a better word!

So I tend to turn to my Me To You digis and stamps instead.  There's plenty of them that contain no colour at all or just a winter hat that can be white like this one.

Trick or Treat Tag

I'm not usually a fan of tags or of distressing either, but I think this project has been growing on me.

I'm liking the grungy inking on the crumpled paper.  The little words were left over from another project when I decided they didn't suit my final card.  They seemed to suit it better cut into three separate words.

It's always nice to mix things up a bit in crafting I think.  Revives the old creative juices!

Digi / Stamping Challenge - Congratulations

I'm hosting the digi / stamping challenge over at DoCrafts.

For this fortnights challenge I'd like you to make something for a celebration other than a birthday.  So it could be for a new baby, new home, new job, retirement, engagement, anniversary, driving test . . . anything you would congratulate someone for.

Congratulations

To join in just bob over to the DoCrafts forum and upload a picture of your card (or any other craft) to your gallery and leave me a message in the forums so I know to enter you.

There's a DoCrafts Goody bag for the winner!  You never know it could be you.

Pink Fairy Wishes

This is one of those cards that looked fabulous in my head but on paper - ug.  It didn't seem to matter what I did to it, it just wouldn't look right!

I know it's me, I'm feeling all out of sorts.  I think it's the clock's going back, I feel like it's much later than it actually is.  My dog's restless because she think's her evening walk's late and she's worried that OH isn't home from work yet.

My techno gremlins have taken residence in my phone and new printer which has so many faults it's unbelievable.  Thankfully it came with a good warranty so I'll have a replacement by the end of the week.

Humph!  This is definitely one of those days I'll be glad to get to the end of!  A nice hot chocolate with my name me thinks.

Decorating the Tree

I was having a go at the Hot Pink and green colour combo I've seen a lot of this Christmas.  I'm not too sure I've managed to pull it off.  I'm not too sure about the image either, I can't decide if the rough look to it is a good thing or not . . .

Maybe I'm just having one of those days.  I was just thinking yesterday how mild this winter has been so far, then that horrible storm blew all the clouds away this morning and I've resorted to pulling my big thick jacket out from the back of the wardrobe.  Oh well, I guess the mild whether was nice while it lasted!
