Wrinklies Watching the Sunset

The Papermania Madame Payraud collection isn't my normal taste but I seem to be turning to it more and more.  I think I'm entering a bit of a vintagey altered art mixed media sort of phase!  There's quite a few pieces of home décor that are in great damager of getting covered in paint and paper . . . I've just finished decorating so it's the ideal time for me to go a bit wild with the finishing touches . . .  I'm interested to see where this fancy takes me . . .

Madame Payraud's Autumnal Fairy

Distress style projects are not normally my forte so I was a bit phased when the Madame Payraud's range arrived in stock.  I let it sit on the shelf for a while until inspiration struck.

It started with the DoCrafts Enchanted Challenge - Shades of Brown, an excuse to buy myself a paper pack, then a sketch from Creative Inspirations and I was away!  I just kept adding more and more embellishments from the range, creating lots of different layers and textures.

I'm so glad I invested in these flower and leaves dies, I did uhm and ahh for a while but I was getting bored with my simple daisy punch.  It's great to have such a wide range of petals to choose from.  These weird looking fantasy style flowers were just the thing for this project.

Art Deco Black and Gold

I love this color combo, it always looks so smart and elegant.  The photo is diabolical, this is what I get for taking photos late in the afternoon!  The actual card looks a lot smarter than the rubbishy picture!

Silver Framed Pink Bouquet

This is one of those simple cards that came together really quickly and easily.  It sparked a very productive crafting session, I love it when things just go well!
