Pink Fairy Princess

I'm not too sure about this image, it's a bit "cartoony" for my taste.  But it had to feature a crown so my choices were limited.  It's only because of my recent digi spending spree that I had choices at all.  I'm so glad I decided to treat myself, having more digis to chose from makes it so much easier to find images to fit any challenge.

I've just noticed the glitter isn't showing up too well in the photo - darn the British winter - roll on spring!  I popped up into my new loft studio this morning to hang some washing on the airer, even at this time of year the light is AMAZING!  I'm so glad I invested in the extra sky light.  It's actually finished as far as the building work goes, just a few finishing touches of paint and the skirting to varnish.  But unfortunately that's not going to happen for a while, I'll be filling it with all my stuff ready for the builders coming to fit a new bathroom and re-plaster most of my flat.  So then I'll have to take all my stuff back out to finish the painting and fit a carpet, a job I was hoping to avoid.  But hey, after all the years I've spent saving for this I think I can wait a few months more for my dream studio!  Enough waffle, point is there is glitter on the flower and a little on her dress.

Moody Teenager!

This is another one of my new "toys".  I just love these cute little guys, this one reminds me of a moody teenager sulking with his walkman, OK IPod these days.  I've accidentally put a bit too much shadow over his face because of his hair falling over it but I think it adds to the grumpy look so I didn't bother blending it out.

Wow Teddy Christmas

Erm, yeah well, one of the challenges I've made this card for is "Out Of Your Comfort Zone" so that's my excuse for the naff card.

Just InkLined Girlie

Much as I'd love to have a huge craft room with masses of storage space for all the stamps I'd love to own and of course the income to buy them with, I just don't have enough space or funds for all the stamps I want.

But digis now that's an entirely different matter!  They take up no space at all, I could literally fit my entire collection thrice over onto a tiny memory stick that fit's in my wallet.  Instead of paying a tenner for a lovely stamp like this I paid less than a tenner for over 200 different images on the The Best of Just Inklined 2012 CD ROM.

I coloured this image using some of the tips shown on the Colour Therapy Tutorial DVD which I also treat myself to.  I'm absolutely delighted to see how much my colouring technique has improved with just a few simple tips.  And it actually took less time to colour than it would have previously done.  Happy Days!

This card looked so much better in my head!  But I'm super short on time, trying to get ahead of myself so I can go away for Valentines this weekend.  So no time to have another go . .
