Kids Polo Shirt Cerise Fleece - Sewing Pattern Review Peek-a-Boo Declan Pullover

I'm just a little bit in love with the Declan Pullover pattern from Peek-a-Boo Patterns.  It's such a cute little stash buster.

I've been struggling to find a pattern for a simple kids top that would suit both my Little Miss and Little Dude. Most importantly I wanted a pattern could be made using some of my stash of cheaper fabrics.  A lot of my stretch fabric stash doesn't have enough stretch to make a cute raglan like the Mega Max by Max and Meena.  Those that do stretch seem to have terrible recovery so they end up over stretched and looking scruffy very quickly.

The placket on this polo style short if the perfect solution.  It's really easy to make (I promise, I know it looks complicated but it really isn't).  And it looks so freaking adorable!!

The Declan pullover pattern comes with long and short sleeved options as well as a collar, Henley neckband or a hood so this is going to be a great all year round pattern.

I do love me a little bit of contrast particularly on kids clothes and even more so when I'm stash busting.  The Declan pullover has been an awesome pattern for creating some really striking contrast designs and really making the most of my scrap stash.

With sizes form newborn to 12 years the pattern will cover both my kids for many years to come so it's fantastic value.

This is turning into a sales pitch which I really didn't intend, I'm just genuinely loving this pattern at the moment!!
