Press them under.
Top stitch the pocket opening.
Top stitch the top and bottom to the jacket front.
Shoulder seams.
For the lining too.
Darts in the hood.
Then the hood seam.
Stitch hood to neck line.
Set in sleeves.
Side seams.
Then place the lining inside the jacket, right sides together. Stitch the bottom and hood edges. Turn.
Top stitch the hem and hood. Press the ends of the sleeves to the inside and top stitch. Insert zip.
