Pastel Rainbows

I accidentally rotated my backing paper panel when I was assembling this card, fortunately it still works with the backing panels going horizontally, actually I think it looks teeny bit better.

Step Out In Style

This is just about the last of the papers from my Ultimate Die-Cut & Paper Pack Strictly Party.  I'm going to have to get creative in finding papers that will suit the left over decoupage images.

I made a little matching gift bag too.

Peach Floral Tag

Just about got a head of myself then OH pops round, "by the way we're going out for so-an-so's birthday tomorrow, can you make her a card and some jewelry !"

You'd think he'd know by now that I can't just whip em up in a few minutes!  So that's my free evening booked up.  But hey, I just got some gorgeous new jewelry stuff in and I've been drooling over it all week.

Just the dog to walk and some grub to rustle up then I'm going to enjoy an evening of crafting in front of the telly.  I could actually go for a movie, hum, have to think about that while I'm out walking.

I'm still madly in love with my new My Minds Eye Antique Floral 180-page Pad it was just the thing for this peach and lemon floral tag, or bookmark, I made it flat so it will do for either depending on which I need first :)

Orange and Brown Girlie

I don't tend to go for orange, browns, neutral shades, I'm more of a jewel colors kinda gal.  But lately I've been admiring more and more neutral shades in other people's projects.  It's even sneaked into my new bathroom color scheme.

Christmas Star

I'm not normally a fan of shaped cards, mine never seem to look right.  As per usual this one wouldn't come together nicely, the first attempted went into the recycling bin!  But I persevered and eventually I found a layout I liked.

Take a Picture

Yipppeee!!!  I have windows, actual windows with locks and vents and glass and everything!  No more drafty, damp wooden frames and broken glass.  The builders have chosen a lovely leaf pattern for the bathroom window too.

It's been a nice quiet day today so I've been getting on with my card making.  This is my first attempt at sepia coloring.  I'm reasonably pleased with it, it was actually quite nice to work with a limited color palette for a change.
