Fleecy Dog Pants - Sewing Pattern Review: McCalls 6224

These comfy pants are deliciously soft and cosy, perfect for snuggling into as the temperature drops.

This pair of pants are availible to buy through my NuMonday shop.

If you're interested in how they're made and how you can make your very own (it's really easy I promise!) scroll on down to find out how.

You'll need the following supplies:

I earn a small commission when products are purchased through the links I post here (at no additional cost to you).

All my seams are double stitched for extra strength to stand up to rough and tumble play.  They are also are professionally finished with an overlocker, so there's no raw edges to fray in the wash.

To stitch the crotch seam one pant leg is placed inside the other so that the crotch seam can be accessed nice and easily for a lovely neat finish.

I make a loop of elastic and sew the ends together very securely.  This makes the comfortable waist band.

The dogs really pop against the teal background fabric.

Hems are stitched with a twin needle for a really professional finish.

We love these pants for pulling on over shorts after sports lessons.  They're super easy to get on and off and they keep my kids nice and cosy after they've been running around.
