Little Miss got a birdhouse kit for her fourth birthday.
All I needed to add was a cup of water.
I opened the paints for her and she got struck right in.
She didn't ask for any help at all.
She spent a good half an hour painting her birdhouse.
She did mix all the colours up into a horrid black mess but she said she liked it that way and I didn't interfere - I was too busy enjoying the peace and quiet.
She's really proud f the finished result. I'll add a coat of clear varnish and we'll mount it near her new garden fort so she can keep an eye on any birds that take up residence.
