5th Birthday Card for George

This is a card for a friend's little boy.  I find it difficult difficult to make cards for children as a pose to babies but making a big deal of their age seems to go down well so i tend to stick with that when I have a specific youngster in mind.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

This has been a reoccurring theme across many challenges lately!  Understandable given the weather we've been having but it looks like we'll be enjoying a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. in the UK?  Can that be right?  Hey, it has been known to happen!

I was getting bored of my go-to rain digi from The Complete Guide to Digital Crafting vol 2 so I was chuffed to come across this one on my Double Sprinkle of Kraft CD rom.

Dancing Queen

This is why I love doing challenges so much.  Orange is certainly not my color so it would never occur to me to use it in my crafting.  Thanks to this challenge I've discovered this lovely Orange and Cream color combo and I'm lovin' it!

My Dad

My wonderful. superstar Dad has almost finished single handedley renovating my rather dilapidated little house.  He cheerfully works away accepting no reward beyond a good dinner on which I insist.  I am most definitely the world's luckiest daughter to have such an incredibly wonderful Dad!

What a lovely challenge theme!  It's always a struggle to find papers to match this theme so turned to my latest purchase My Minds Eye Antique Floral and found just the thing.

I'm also loving the neutral baby color scheme, just the thing to keep on standby.

Hum, I think one of my fave paper packs is almost used up, I couldn't find enough pink paper to get the affect I wanted.  Oh well, there's always another new fave paper pack just around the corner and a used one leaves space for a new one!  Like justification is necessary! :)

Lilac and Brown Daisies

I hope I'm not blowing my own trumpet here but I am soo chuffed with this card!  The layout didn't seem to gel at first but after I added the topper it seemed to come together.  I flicked through my new pack of My Minds Eye Antique Floral papers looking for a lilac paper and I came across this brown and lilac paper, I took the brown color scheme from there and I'm absolutely delighted with the result!

Whatever the Wheather

Typical, I go to write up this card and it starts hail-storming!  Roll on Summer!
