Here's my tools and materials:
Pattern: Megamax Raglan from Max & Meena
Fabric: Yellow rib from stash
Front of sleeves pinned onto top front.
Sleeve backs pinned onto back.
I neaten the hems and press them before sewing the seams. It's much easier to get an even seam this way.
Then the side seams.
I use a straight stitch to sew the ends of the bands together.
And press the seam open to reduce bulk.
Folded and pressed.
Neck band pinned in place with oh so many pins.
Lovely!
I like to top stitch the hems and neckband with a twin needle, it gives such a professional finish.
