I love pinafore style dresses on little girls, it makes me think of old fashioned school uniform, very smart but also oh so adorable.
Upper edges of the pockets finished and hemmed.
Sides pressed in.
Pinned and top stitched in place.
Edges of facing finished.
Sewn onto skirt front.
Stitch side seams.
Attach front and back bibs.
Fold under laps in half and stitch.
Sew onto sides.
Sew straps.
Press and turn.
Finish bottom edge of bib linings.
Sew bib lining back into place, securing straps.
Turn and press.
Hem bottom edge.
Add button holes to straps and sides.
Sew corresponding buttons in place.
Turn in edges of back casing.
Sew in place.
Thread elastic through.
Secure at both ends.
