Lots of seeds planted this year.
I'm using loo rolls to protect the roots from damage when they are transplanted.
I've also switched to biodegradable plant markers, aka lolly sticks. I'm sick of finding the old plastic ones in the garden. These can just be left in the soil to break down all be it slowly.
This year I'm trying multi-sowing as recommended by Charles Dowding. So there's about half a dozen seeds in each little pot of onions, less for the other veggies.
It's still very cold this year so I've put my propagators next to the radiator until the seeds germinate, then I'll move them nearer the window. I'll see how that goes this year.
