Ladies Pyjama Shirt - Sewing Pattern Review: Simplicity 7576

I'm making myself a new pair of Pyjamas using a vintage pattern by Simplicity and some gorgeous brushed cotton from my stash.

Tools and Materials:

I'm a ding bat, I narrowed the back but neglected to make the same adjustment on the back facing.  I've folded the excess fabric out of the way, at least it won't be seen.

I've also finished the facing with my overlocker instead of turning it under.

The rest of the construction is really straight forward.  I've pretty much followed the instructions, except I've finished all my seams with my overlocker and stitched my hems with a twin needle for a professional finish.

With a such a busy pattern on the fabric I find tailors chalk to be inadequate.  However white chalk overlaid with a black Frixion marker is perfectly crisp and clear.  The pen is easily erased with an iron.
