I'm ashamed to admit that these are the first batch of mince pies I've ever made. I'm not overly keen on them but OH requested some this year. He's very happy with his big pile of mis-shapes and rejects!
This is also my first attempt at home made shortbread. Hum, they don't look right to me but they taste darn good so I that'll do for me!
