Just One Bear!

Just one Bear! And Just One Paper!  Ekk!!  I have an aversion to plain cards lately.  But all in all I'm pretty pleased with my effort and it made for a nice quick card so I could spend the rest of the evening curled up on the couch with some cross stitch - always a good cure for a bust day at the office!

Orange and Yellow Fairy

I am loving these fabulous stamps from Caron Vinson.  I feel like my colouring with them is improving each time I use one, my new ProMarker Ultra-fine Nib has been a big help.

This did actually start out as a stepper card but I was so chuffed with the front part and slightly less enamoured with the back.  So I chopped off the back and I'll use it as a base for another card some other time.

I didn't have a suitably coloured brad so I've used a ProMarker to colour a plain white brad so that it matches my colour scheme perfectly.  I'm thinking of just buying white mini brad sin future then I have just one pack of brads but any colour I wish.

Wellington and His Girl

Boyfriend thinks this stamp looks sad but I'd call it heart-warming, not to mention incredibly cute!  It's definitely one of my current favourites and I can see it being a while before it works it's way to the back of my stamp file.

Hot Diggity Doggie Goes Camping!

I think boyfriend my end up a little jealous of my love affair with Hot Diggity Dog!  But he's just so cute!!  And the images are so easy to colour since I invested on some ProMarkers.  I have recently invested in the ProMarker Ultra-fine Nib and it made those teeny tiny little frogs so much easier to colour.

I probably shouldn't be blogging this given the stamp has sold out but I just couldn't resist - Sorry.

Green Lady at Lunch

I've been having a bit of a green phase lately, I don't mean I've been ill or jealous - LOL.  Sage particularly has been appearing in more and more of my cards, even before the Chelsea Green Capsule collection was released.

Strictly Party

I'm absolutely loving the new Strictly Party collection from Papermania, my only gripe is that there isn't more in the range. As soon as I saw the gorgeous papers included in the Ultimate Die Cut Pack I just had to treat myself!

Best of British Criss Cross Card

This is my take on a criss cross card.  It's not technically correct as the two side panels should be stuck to the base panel to make a pocket.  I felt it added dimension to leave them open.

The card blank is made by sticking two single fold card blanks together and trimming the outer panels along the diagonal.

Happy Days Cupcakes

For this card I've used roughly the same layout as the Happy Days Free Project, yet again.  I tend to come up with an idea and keep repeating it in slightly different ways, coming up with new ideas along the way.

Happy Days Cherries

I have to admit I wasn't an especially huge fan of the new Happy Days collection when I first saw it.  But after an evening playing with the new products I'm absolutely loving it!

It's so fun and funky with small images on the papers and lots of elements to mix and match.  It goes really well with distressed edges and a hint of black ink.

This card layout is a total copy of this weeks free project, but hey, if it ain't broken don't fix it!
